FAQs: Everything You Need to Know About Fudge Fairy

What makes your fudge different?

We’re not your grandma’s fudge (though she'd probably love it too). Our flavors are playful, nostalgic, and made with care in small batches — with a soft, creamy texture that’s spoonable straight from the container.

How much fudge is in each jar?

Each jar contains 12oz of fudge, which is a generous serving! But don't fret - the fudge lasts 3-6 weeks, and once opened should be eaten within 10 days. Refrigerate after opening for freshness.

How long does your fudge last? Does it need to be refrigerated?

Not right away! Our fudge is shelf-stable for 2 to 3 weeks at room temperature in a cool, dry place (or until the Best By date on the label). After that, we recommend refrigerating it to maintain freshness. You can also freeze it for longer storage — just thaw before enjoying. If you do refrigerate it, let it soften for 10–15 minutes before digging in so it’s perfectly spoonable again!

Is the fudge shipped with ice packs? Will it melt in transit?

Our fudge ships safely at room temperature without ice packs. Each jar is double‑sealed (freshness seal plus airtight lid) so quality is preserved in transit. Because our recipe is intentionally soft and spoonable, the texture may feel looser on arrival during warmer months. If you prefer it firmer, just pop the jar in the fridge for 20–30 minutes and it will set right up, flavor and freshness stay the same.

Do you offer dairy-free, nut-free, or gluten-free options?

Some of our flavors are naturally gluten-free or nut-free, but please note that all fudge is made in a facility that may handle dairy, nuts, soy, and gluten. We recommend checking each flavor’s product page for ingredient details.
